LEADERS IN QUALITY RENOVATION AND MODERIZATION

The Denckla family moved to Fairwood in January 1969, Jeff was just 3 months old.  He attended Fairwood Elementary, Meeker Jr high, Kentridge Sr high and graduated with a degree in Hotel Management from Washington State University.  In 1994 he married his wife and has two Daughters.  In 1995 Jeff started a business called Alliance Flooring Services, the business just celebrated 25 years.  In 2019 Jeff and his family moved back to Fairwood.  

The Bratton family moved to Fairwood in 1980, Jim was 13 years old.  Jim attended Meeker, Kentridge and Western University. Jim’s Dad started JW Bratton Remodeling in 1982.  Jim work with his dad during high school summers and college. After college Jim joined John full time until 2010 when the business closed after Johns passing.  Jim married and has 3 boys and continues to live in Fairwood with his family. 

The Bratton and Denckla families have been friends since 1980. Their kids are friends, they vacation together, and they are ingrained in the community they live in. The Bratton and Denckla team have built two personal (Denckla 1994 & 2007) houses together and renovated over 100 houses in the Fairwood area together (JW Bratton Renovating and Alliance Flooring Services).  Additionally, JW Bratton has built an additional 30 plus houses.  The team has been working together since 1994.   

In 2019 Jim and Jeff decided to restart the business under our new name J & J Renovations.  They’re combining our experience of over 30 years each in construction and flooring, we can handle all aspects of renovating your home.
